Part 4: FLASHBACK!!
Dax falls to the floor with a lifeless thud. His arm now a bloody stump and his eye a waterfall of crimson. Just as he hit the ground his brother Shane scoops, him while approaches the Knight cautiously intending to fight him. Shane holds Dax staring at his wounds unflinchingly, as his brothers blood spilled across his shirt. He was silent but faint tears streamed down his face as he set Dax down. He wrapped Dax's arm wound with his jacket and stood.
"What's this Shane. Treating an enemy's wounds now are we, I should have you tried for insubordination." He put his hand on Shane's shoulder. "It doesn't matter that your brother died Shane. He was just a sacrifice to the war." The Knight signals the GG for backup. "Anyways hurry and help me capture this one." he pointed to Derek. "If we capture him we'll be in for a special treat." He laughs loudly, proud of taking out Dax and eager to get the rest.
Shane's shoulders shudder and then stopped suddenly. He mutters something fast and inaudible to himself, while holding his hands over his face. He sits still for a moment, and breathes in heavily. As he exhales he moves his hands from his face and rockets his fist into the helmet of the Knight, denting it and sending him flying to a nearby wall. He ran to the Knight who was now holding his face and began beating him viciously until he felt his skull crush from the heavy blows. He takes one final punch to make sure that the Knight was dead, and walks over to the confused Derek. "I hope you don't mind if I ask you two a favor?" he breathes heavily at them and pulls out a small sheet of paper and a pen from his pocket and rights something down. "Sorry Derek but I need you to come back with me. Nothing personal its just that, back up is on the way and with my partner not returning it'll look to suspicous. And you-" he turns to Viper and hands her the paper. " If you would please take Dax her when the GG leave. Tell him that Shane sent you and to start working immediately."
Viper nods her head, being too scared to turn Shane's request down.
Shane turns back to Derek and pulls out a pair of Handcuffs. "I'm sorry but....I need to use you to help my brother."
Derek sighs and holds his hands forward waiting for him to cuff him. "As a General I must take responsibility, for him."
Shane cuffs him and takes him outside just as the GG reinforcements came, wiping his tears and hoping that Dax would be fine.
